this awesome duo was married in philly on a very hot saturday afternoon! amber wore a beautiful vintage dress with a modern twist and she wore her hair upswept to the side.! brian forgot his cool socks, but still managed to look very dapper in a grey suit! i knew i loved this couple when amber and i were pointing out all the same off beat spots to stop for portraits along our route and i think my heart may have skipped a beat when they told me they love my use of negative space {my heart's all aflutter just thinking of these 2!} we made the trek in the heat for some portraits and then headed to the reception space - a very cool location called power plant productions.. loads of white walls, white ceilings and natural light {photographer's dream} they chose a simple but modern palette with shades of green, white and a touch of blue. loved the yarn wall hangings and their tassel wall for their photo booth backdrop - so fresh and new! their ceremony was short and sweet and included a cartwheeling flower girl. a wall was covered in old black white movies throughout the night, so neat! some awesome music, think i heard some my morning jacket in there, glow sticks, bathroom humor and delicious food made for a very fun day! love when i get to work with couples who i could be buddies with and i wish these 2 all the love on their adventure ahead! xo a + b!
