kristin + paul 1.4.13

this awesome couple was married on one of the coldest days of the year right after a snow storm! kristin + paul had their wedding at the historic abbie holmes estate and a winter theme was present throughout. kristin wore a vintage inspired lace dress and carried a beautiful {but very heavy} bouquet and paul wore a classic black suit and navy tie. the ceremony was surrounded by christmas trees, dangling snow flakes and a window with a view of the snow! they had a friend marry them {a trend i'm seeing more often and loving} the couple braved the icy cold for some photos on the porch and the rest we took throughout the estate. the reception included place cards in various shades of blue & grey, handmade paper fortune tellers for guests and lace covered candle holders sat in place of traditional floral centerpieces! bags of nuts wrapped in chevron paper served as favors and guests were also treated to a hot chocolate bar and cupcakes! some great dancing by the grandfather of the bride & fun music, i think i even heard a little boyz to men in there made for a festive and memorable night for all! congrats k + p! xo
